Casablanca Desert Tours

Every tour on this page can be booked as a private trip with your own driver and vehicle. If you'd rather share a vehicle with other travelers to lower the cost, mention it when you inquire and we'll check what's available.

Most packages cover private transport, a driver-guide, one or two nights in a desert camp, and breakfast and dinner while you're in the desert. Lunches, entry fees, and camel rides are often listed as separate add-ons, so check the details on each tour.

Merzouga has taller dunes and photographs better, but it's a longer drive from Casablanca. Zagora is closer and fits the shorter tours above, like the 4 or 5-day options.

ctober through April is the most comfortable stretch, since summer daytime heat in the desert regularly passes 40°C. Spring and autumn nights are also clearer, which matters if you want a good view of the stars.

A few weeks ahead is a safer bet, especially from October to April when desert camps are busiest. Shorter tours can sometimes be arranged with only a few days' notice if you're flexible on dates.
