Our next stop will be back in Fes for the night.
DAY 3 : FES DAY VISIT
On your third day of a seven-day tour from Marrakech, after you eat breakfast in your Riad, you’ll go to the country’s special and oldest city, FES. You’ll walk through its busy markets, narrow streets, and old buildings. First, you’ll see the big Royal Palace gate that separates the new and old parts of Fes.
Then, you’ll visit lots of places that are important for their culture and history, like the famous Al Qaraouine University, the Tanneries, and the Attarine museum.
After lunch, you’ll see the best place to stay in Fes called Fes El Bali. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site, and it’s the oldest and most interesting part of the city. There are small streets and important old buildings like Babb Boujloud, which is the main gate to the medina. Fes El Bali is a great market for handmade things with colorful Moroccan styles like leather goods and metalwork. In the afternoon, we’ll go to the new part of the city for a drink. You’ll spend the night in a Hotel/Riad
DAY 4 : FES – VOLUBILIS - MEKNES SIGTHS - RABAT
In the morning, you’ll ride to Meknes, an old city that has been around since the first rulers of Morocco a long time ago. There, you’ll see important things like a big gate called Babb el-Mansur, a special basin called the Sahrij Souani, and a very fancy building where Moulay Ismail is buried. You’ll also explore the markets and small streets in the old part of the city.
After that, we’ll visit Volubilis, which is the most famous place in Morocco from the time when the Romans were here, a long, long time ago, between the years AD 24-285. It shows us a lot about how Morocco’s history began. Then we’ll go to Moulay Idriss, a city that’s built on steep hills, with buildings falling down the slopes in a dramatic way. Our next stop is Rabat. At the end of this exciting day, you’ll go to our local riad where you’ll stay after having dinner. If you want, after dinner, you can go explore the newer part of the city.

After that, we’ll visit the Ordains Kasbah, which is an old fortress built in the 11th century and looks like it’s from Andalusia. From there, you can see really nice views over to Salé and the Atlantic Ocean.
Next, we’ll head to Casablanca, which is the biggest commercial city in Morocco. We’ll visit Hassan 2, the second largest mosque in the world. It’s amazing because it’s right on the edge of a rocky bay overlooking the ocean. This mosque is one of Morocco’s great architectural achievements. Then we’ll go to Place Mohamed V where there are many old government buildings. Finally, you’ll be driven back to your place to stay for the night.
