Experience the 4-day Morocco desert tour from Marrakech, packed with incredible places to explore. Your journey includes visits to the High Atlas mountains, Tizi-N-Tichka pass, Ait-Ben-Haddou Kasbah, and Ouarzazate city. Discover the Draa valley, Morocco’s longest river, along with Rissani town and the Merzouga Sahara desert. Enjoy camel rides, witness mesmerizing sunsets and sunrises, and sleep in a desert camp. You’ll also visit the Dades valley, Todra gorges, and Amridil Kasbah before concludi//ng the tour back in Marrakech.
Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi -N-Tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Once we pick you up from your place or the bus station, your 4-day tour from Marrakech to the Sahara desert begins heading towards Dades Gorges. During your trip, you’ll pass through a famous mountain road called Tizi N’Tichka, which is really high at 2260 meters above the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you’ll see the impressive Telouet Kasbahs and a village before reaching the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a special place recognized by UNESCO. There, you’ll have lunch. Later, we’ll continue the journey to Dades Valley, where you’ll find rocky gorges along the Dades River, and you’ll have dinner at the hotel/riad.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Desert Merzouga
After breakfast at Dades Gorges, we’ll go to Erg Chebbi, the biggest desert in Morocco, found in Merzouga. Along the way, we’ll pass through Tinejdad, Jorf, and Erfoud. When we reach Merzouga’s town, we’ll take a short break before continuing our trip to the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert. We’ll ride camels to the campsite. You’ll get to see a beautiful sunset over the sand dunes, a great opportunity to take amazing pictures. Dinner will be served in a nomad tent, where you’ll sleep peacefully.
Day 3: Camel Trekking Back To Merzouga – Berber Villages – Ouarzazate
Watching the beautiful sunrise over the sand dunes early in the morning is an amazing experience. Then, on the third day of the trip, we’ll head back to the hotel in Merzouga for breakfast and a shower. Our destination for the day will be Ouarzazate. Along the way, we’ll pass through Berber villages, the Atlas Mountains, Tineghir, Todra Gorges, and Boulmane Dades. We’ll stay overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 4: Ouarzazate - Marrakech:
After breakfast, our first activity will be driving to a special place in the desert: the Kasbah Of Ait Ben Heddou. This amazing place was in famous movies like Gladiator, the Mummy, Cleopatra, and Game of Thrones.
Then, we’ll head towards Marrakech, driving through the unique paths of the High Atlas Mountains, especially the Tizi N Ntichka pass. We’ll see several small Berber villages along the way. Finally, we’ll reach Marrakech in the evening, marking the end of our 4-day tour from Fes to Marrakech via the Sahara desert. Thank you for your wonderful visit.
