Embark on an enthralling 3-day excursion from Marrakech to Fes, exploring the mesmerizing Sahara Desert and beyond. Traverse through the captivating landscapes of the Rose Valley, Todra and Dades Gorges, and the iconic Ait Benhaddou. Additionally, delve into the historic city of Fes, known for its rich cultural tapestry, ancient Medina, and vibrant atmosphere.
Day 1 : Marrakech – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges:
The 3 Days Tour From Marrakech To Fes starts in Marrakech. We’ll meet at your place and then go towards Ouarzazate. On our way, we’ll pass through Tizi N’Tichka Pass, a high road that goes over the tall High Atlas Mountains, reaching 2,260 meters. Before we get to Ouarzazate, we’ll visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which is very important and special because it’s recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. We’ll stop there to have lunch.
Then, we’ll visit Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa, and explore the Cinema Studios there. We’ll keep going on the Road of Thousand Kasbahs. In Kalaat M’Gouna, also known as the Valley of Roses, we’ll take a break. It’s famous for its lovely roses and making rosewater. Every May, they have a big celebration called the Festival of Roses in Kalaat M’Gouna. After leaving the Valley of Roses, we’ll head towards Dades Gorges. At the hotel, you’ll have dinner and breakfast.
Day 2 : Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga
On the second day of the tour, you’ll be shown around the Dades Valley, which has lots of rocky gorges next to the Dadès River. You’ll see the impressive sandcastles and a cool rock formation called Monkey Toes. Then, we’ll travel through Tinghir to visit the Todra Gorges, which are the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco.
Next, we’ll go to Erfoud where you’ll see fascinating workshops with fossils. Our tour continues to Rissani, known for having really cool and big traditional markets called Souks in Morocco. We’ll stop there for lunch before going back to Merzouga, where our journey to the Sahara desert starts. After riding camels for about an hour and a half, you’ll reach your destination. You’ll spend the night in a nomad tent and have a delicious Berber dinner.
Day 3 : Merzouga Desert – Midelt – Azrou – Fes
You’ll wake up early to see a stunning sunrise over the sand dunes. Then, we’ll head to the hotel in Merzouga for breakfast. Our tour will go through Errachidia and Ziz Valley, which is famous for its beautiful gorges, palm groves, and different kinds of crops.
While traveling, we’ll pass through Tizi Ntalghamt Pass before reaching Midelt. Along the way, we’ll go through Azrou, Berber villages, and Cedar Forest, where you can watch Berberian apes climbing and jumping in the trees. We’ll also pass through Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco, before arriving in Fez, where the guided tour ends.
