Join a 3-day desert tour from Fez to Merzouga, where you’ll explore the diverse landscapes of the great south, including the Sahara Desert, High Atlas Mountains, and Berber villages. This adventure offers a unique experience of Moroccan life, nomadic culture, and prepares you for an extraordinary Sahara adventure.
Day 1: Fes – Midelt - Merzouga
After having breakfast at your hotel, you’ll head to Merzouga through Errachidia and Erfoud. The journey takes you through the beautiful Ziz Gorge, offering views of the High Atlas plateau. You’ll see the landscape change as you near Errachidia, where you’ll stop for lunch and experience Berber hospitality. Then, you’ll travel through the lush Ziz Valley, enjoying panoramic views on your way to Erfoud and the Merzouga desert. Dinner and overnight stay await you.
Day 2: Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, you’ll have a 4×4 adventure to visit nomad families and see how they live in Berber tents. Enjoy a local meal called ‘Berber pizza’ for lunch. After some free time to relax, you’ll ride a camel through the dunes of Erg Chebbi in the afternoon. Arrive at your desert camp, have dinner under the stars, and enjoy Berber music in the sand dunes. Spend the night in your camp.
Day 3: Merzouga - Ziz valley -Fes
Start your day with breakfast, wake up early to watch the sunrise, and then ride your camel back to Merzouga. Leave the desert and travel to Rissani. From Rissani, head to Fez via Azrou and the cedar forests. This marks the end of our services.
