Tour Overview
Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi -N-Tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Once we pick you up from your place or the bus station, your 4-day tour from Marrakech to the Sahara desert begins heading towards Dades Gorges. During your trip, you’ll pass through a famous mountain road called Tizi N’Tichka, which is really high at 2260 meters above the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you’ll see the impressive Telouet Kasbahs and a village before reaching the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a special place recognized by UNESCO. There, you’ll have lunch. Later, we’ll continue the journey to Dades Valley, where you’ll find rocky gorges along the Dades River, and you’ll have dinner at the hotel/riad.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Desert Merzouga
After breakfast at Dades Gorges, we’ll go to Erg Chebbi, the biggest desert in Morocco, found in Merzouga. Along the way, we’ll pass through Tinejdad, Jorf, and Erfoud. When we reach Merzouga’s town, we’ll take a short break before continuing our trip to the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert. We’ll ride camels to the campsite. You’ll get to see a beautiful sunset over the sand dunes, a great opportunity to take amazing pictures. Dinner will be served in a nomad tent, where you’ll sleep peacefully.
